Prateek is a Senior Advisor at Ikarus Capital since 2024.
Prateek has more than 20 years of professional experience primarily as an Investor in the Infrastructure sector across Europe, Asia and Australia.
He has held senior leadership positions including Board directorships and transaction experience across Energy, Decarbonisation and Transportation sectors with a total value in excess of $20bn. Key transactions include Gatwick Airport, Edinburgh Airport, Orsted JVs in Offshore wind, Equis Energy (renamed Vena Energy), Azure Power, Groendus and Kenter.
Prateek was most recently Managing Director and member of European Management committee at OMERS Infrastructure (2019 – 2024), overseeing investment strategy in Energy Transition, Transportation and E-Mobility, and was leading their Asian operations from 2020 to 2022
He was also Senior Principal at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) from 2007 to 2019, and prior experience includes Dresdner Kleinwort, Barclays Capital and ICICI Bank.
Board Director roles were held at London City Airport, Associated British Ports, Azure Power, Groendus and Indinfravit.
Prateek holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School and MBA from HEC School of Management (France).
